Hi There,
Having a problem when I enter login information and the loader/spinner just sits and does not finalize the login process. Only by reloading the page does the widget show you are logged in. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Hi There,

Thanks,
I have the same problem on my site (http://www.3nglish.co.uk) after the update to 2.1.1. Logging in via other methods / widgets work, but not via the ajax login widget. The login process isn't completed at all in my case and my users can't log in.
Is there a solution for this?
Cheers,
sn0r.
Oops.. forgot to mention my wp version: 2.9.2
I did manage to get this error from the Error Console:
encodeURIComponent($("#lwa_user_login")).attr is not a function
http://www.3nglish.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/login-with-ajax/login-with-ajax.js?ver=2.9.2
Line 1
Perhaps that'll help?
Hi sn0r,
I'm already working on it and new fixed version will be up within 30 mins. We actually corrected this problem, but overwrote it with the old JS file when compressing it.
Thanks for pointing that out.... this is a bad bug.
You're my hero :-) Thanks.
NP, I'm glad you pointed it out too. Btw, it's uploaded, may take 15 mins to update in the repo.
I'm having this same problem... :(
But, I can log in as site admin fine, but any other test user that I create only shows that I'm logged in after I refresh the page.
I just downloaded LWA today, and I'm running Wordpress 3.0 release candidate 1.
Thanks!
gamefanatic, are you able to give me any javascript errors?
Hello.
I do have a problem with login in IE8.
when login it's stand and loads but nothing happens.
IN Firefox nothing wrong
I ran Firebug in Firefox, and it's telling me that there are no javascript errors.
I tried in IE, Chrome, and Firefox, and they are all giving me the same problem: I can log in as an admin, but everyone else has to refresh the page to show they are logged in.
I'm currently working on the new version. This problem doesn't seem to happen on any browser, so hopefully the problem is already resolved in the newer version. When we update, please let us know on here again if the issue persists and we'll revisit it to make sure it works.
